For the past three years, I’ve been accompanying biologists in the field during biodiversity surveys. These trips took me from the Sierra, to the Mojave, to lush Redwood Forests. Just as early naturalists did, I use drawing to document my adventures, and to catalogue species encountered. I intend to collaborate more with biologists, and to use art and design to support the important research that they do.
