My Talk on Sketching
My buddy Ario asked me to give a guest lecture for his class, HCDE 598 — the capstone class for the Human Centered Design and Engineering Masters program at the University of Washington. I’ve had a number of great guest lecturers for my classes over the last couple of years, so I was happy for the chance to reciprocate.
Here’s the talk, including three worksheets for an activity that I had the students do:

I love these slides!
I’m a graduate of University of Washington’s Human Centered Design and Engineering program. I understand you have a talk there recently. I’m such a big fan of sketching. And your slides are hilarious!
Thanks James! I’m glad you enjoyed them, it was a really fun talk to put together. I did the whole thing on 3″ x 5″ notecards, no PowerPoint or Keynote. We did the lecture via Google Hangouts, so I just held my cards up to my camera and went through the talk.
